The new forum: "Diabetes-Teens.Net International"

Ok, it seems that I am the first to be writing in this forum...

In fact, we discussed the possibility of a forum for "not Germans" a long time ago, and on and on again, but we thought there would not be enough people to be using it.

But ok, we were asked, if we were adding such a part, and as our users are somehow holy to us *g*...

Whatever, if you have got difficulties, questions, or whatever just post it, if there are questions about the forum, posts, etc ask e.g. the mods or admins, at least they should be able to answer your questions...

You can post in any language you like, but it could be that your topic might be deleated, if we (the mods and admins) are not able to get the gist out of it, because the laws according to internet stuff are really strict in Germany. But you cannot be wrong in using English, you might even have got more success, I think here is nobody, really being able to speak, or write e.g. japanese...

As the English people, who might read in this forum, cannot read the German posts.. the are topics about meetings (yes we want to arrange a meeting somewhere in the middle of Germany somewhen), about insulin pumps, etc...

Have fun!

EDIT: There is a tool on our website, which should translate the page into English

The google tool, which translates the page is not really worth mentioning, not wo say it is pretty unprecise, but nevertheless it is better than nothing.

And we have been certified by HONcode, all their principles have been implemented.

Oh before I forget to mention, there are also Infopages on this website, you will find it in the menu above, for now, there is only one English page, but some will follow in time...

The problem of english speaking diabetics could also be, that any other words of these forum are in german, for example: "Antwort schreiben". And when I'm looking on me, if I could read these "mots", I would also write german postings.

LOL yeah thats the point, but the rest will follow, when the new version of PHPbb ist released. It would make no sense to change it now, thats basically too much work for just a couple of weeks... so hold on it will be changed!

But for now we have got a link to the google translation into english and french, and the forum is standardized, so if anyone uses english speaking forums he/she should know where the "send" button is...

We use our own forum. It was a lot of work to translate the whole design file. So I know what you mean ;)
