For English speakers

Beitragvon kellydh » 5. Dezember 2007 00:42

Hello!

Richard asked me to write a little something on here for English speakers in an attempt to go international with the site. I am the USA representative for the Novo Nordisk Youth Panel and am a 22 year old college student with type 1 diabetes. So, not quite a teenager anymore, but I can look back on the teenagers years and give a reminiscing perspective.

Unfortunately, I do not speak German, so I only serve as a link to English (and French) speakers, but I think this site has tremendous potential outside of Germany!

Take care,
Kelly

Welcome :) How long do you have diabetes so far?

Hi, nice to meet you,

it doesn't matter how old you are. Here are some students, who are much older than you. 8)

I don't know who it could be...but I heard of them

Welcome to the forum Kelly, and thanks for bringing the international forum to life.

So, not quite a teenager anymore

Well, me neither. But I feel young (and still get carded for beer back in the States). LOL

I was brought up in San Antonio TX. and spent five years in the service.

I'm trying to help out with my knowledge of 37 years Diabetes.

How long do you have T1 ? Do you use a pump ? I just got a Deltec Cozmo last week and the thing ROCKS ! :D

I'm also on http://tudiabetes.com/.
